New handmades uploaded to the catalogue, and White Rose Collection official release 2 May 2021

Hello!
I don't usually post about new products, but I wanted to draw your attention to the change in categories at the top link bar. For those who haven't quite realised, it appears that I only make things that are from the shoulders upwards! So in other words, I don't really make other things like tops, bags etc (I mean, I could make an odd pouch or bag, but it's really not quite on my agenda yet, unless I find a piece of material that really inspires me to make something amazing out of it).
The other day I stumbled across some amazing vintage silk kimono panels, and I couldn't resist making them into scarves as the weather has turned chilly. They are lightweight scarves, however (warmth really depends on the individual), so they can be used in spring, autumn, or winter as an accessory if you are wearing a warm coat. I think they are absolutely perfect for jazzing up any outfit. I didn't want to cut these fabrics up at all, and kept them exactly as they were so they can be retained and enjoyed in their original glory. By purchasing a scarf, you're supporting not one but two Australian businesses, as they came from an Australian importer (who imported them from Japan).
My choice of lining material is a bit strange, but I just love how soft and drapey the lining fabric is that I have chosen for them - I also hate lint, so I chose something that is low maintenance and will stay looking fabulous longer. I also spent ages choosing it!
I only have three styles at the moment, because I'm not sure how popular these will be, and if this is something I want to keep in my catalogue. If they are popular however, I will be getting more in to make - I really wanted to keep them all for myself - I can't choose a favourite. These also make amazing Mother's Day gifts, given the weather and the amazing prints and colours. You can't go wrong with any of them.
I've also revealed the "White Rose" Collection (currently on the homepage carousel), which will be available at my pop up at The Cannery Markets Rosebery on the 2nd May 2021, if it's something you might be interested for yourself or for Mother's Day. The collection will be released to the website that night at 8pm, after I sort out my stock levels. Like with everything, I don't know how popular it will be - they could all be available, or they could all sell. I'll be bringing them to every other market afterwards of course, until sold out.
And that's it for today! The weather in Sydney is shining (air chilly though). If you are not in Sydney, but you are in Australia, now's the time to place an order online to ensure you get your goodies for Mother's Day. Free standard shipping over $80 within Australia, and 99% of the items online are one of a kind - so if you don't buy it, someone else will :) Don't miss out!
