My first ever Market Day at Kirribilli Markets - was windy and rainy!

Hi everyone!
I was super nervous about having a market stall, and even made a teru teru bozu (which actually worked because it stopped pouring rain, and it settled to a drizzle around lunch time!) to help shoo the bad weather away.
For the past week or so I've been on my toes tracking the weather forecast - and it was not looking good.
We're talking like lots of rain - but even rain won't dampen my spirit - it was the 30-50km/h winds that was well, literally blowing me away.
I was really blessed by the market coordinators to be given a gravel spot for my first ever market, and I was appreciating this so much! Unfortunately on the day, setting up the gazebo was a complete disaster, and before anything even started, half my packaging was ruined, and my products were flying away. Oh, and my gazebo had a vent at the top, so there was an occasional drip or two coming down... melting my packaging.
However, I was again super lucky to move into the tunnel! It was windy, but at least the rain was only a bit of a spray, and not full force hosing. I also managed to meet a few other lovely makers, so we were in it together!
Special shout out to my friend Leah who trekked through the bad weather - for those who couldn't make it, hopefully next time. I'm super blessed to have customers, and I felt really supported today as it was just my first market, and I'm really glad my concept came across and hope you all enjoy the earrings as much as I loved making them.
Once again, thank you to each and every one of you. I think I'll be at Kirribilli Markets next month (again, the Art, Design & Fashion) - possibly on the gravel, maybe in the tunnel (if I apply but I'm not sure), hopefully see you soon.
