Mochi La Vie's Debut Market will be at Kirribilli Markets (Art, Fashion & Design), Sun 14 March 2021!

Hey everyone!

I've been really busy this past week preparing for my first ever market stall. It has been a really crazy week and a bit making sure I had all the bits and bobs (some big, like a gazebo to keep us all dry and shaded from the elements), props, and enough stock to fill up two tables!

Despite it sounding like a mad rush, I can reassure you that under pressure I have managed to actually create my most detailed and refined work to date. Like driving, it felt like I started at 0 just two months ago starting out making earrings, and now I feel like I'm at a solid 60 (it's just a number, not an actual measure!). I've been flying!

As such I am also in the progress of photographing and uploading new listings to the website, which will take quite a while because there's SO much I didn't realise I had.

Back to the details of my first market stall - you will be able to find me at Kirribilli Markets, Sydney on Sunday 14th March 2021, during their monthly Art, Fashion & Design market. I don't know the exact location just yet, but you will find me via a blue roof (I know I know, but I'll upgrade it down the track if I can), and look out for a very pretty red and white banner. Truly Japanese style. You won't miss it, I promise. The market runs from 8:30am-3pm, so if there's anything you've been eyeing or wanting to check out, I suggest you come early in case, as I usually only have 1 (yes, one) of each style only. So once it's gone, it's gone!

On another note, this is all feeling very real now that I've stopped my production for now, and have focused on display, packaging and website listing as well as pricing. Once I have completed these and I feel like I have some extra time, I'll dedicate a day or two to make a few more earrings. Earrings have been wonderful for the past three days or so - I feel like I've really established a good creative workflow and everything has just come to me very naturally.

Keep your eyes on the website to get a sneak peek of what you will see on the market day, place an order if you really need (because I really only have 1 one each), or if you want to brave it out, come and check it out in person.

I'm really glad that I will be having friends to come around and visit (I didn't tell any friends about this venture until now) - moral support. I'll need it!

Hope to see you there!
