Kirribilli Art, Design & Fashion Markets 11th April 2021

Posted by Misa on 11th Apr 2021

Hi!

Today I was at the Kirribilli Markets inside the Burton Street Tunnel for the "first take" again! It was very cold and windy - I thought my attire was invincible, but apparently not~ it was freezing! Winter is definitely on its way, and probably going to come early.

I am always very nervous and curious to know who will come and who I will meet whenever I have a market stall, because as for those who follow me on Instagram, I actually do very limited marketing and have a very non-existent online presence (or at least, I think so) - but to my absolute surprise, I have had customers tell me that they have seen my earrings on Instagram, and wanted to see them in person! Thank you for everyone who had a look, purchased, intended to purchase and/or left positive feedback. I was also very excited to meet Becky from the Coal Loader!

I've updated the website shop to reflect what I have left in stock. Again, for some reason it's very difficult to update stock live when I am at the markets (maybe because there's a lot of people using the internet? But it seems very convenient my web store managing host doesn't agree with me when I am having a market haha) - I've been doing mini restocks left right and centre, and it seems like I'll need to do another mini restock, because a lot of my paper "Sakura" ear studs were snapped up today, as well as some hair clips (which I don't really keep listed on the website as I have too many combinations to keep track of).

On other exciting news, I've already completed my very special May collection, which will be available next month.

Today was a great day at Kirribilli and I think I'll be there again next month (unless something pops up and I'll be elsewhere - still sorting out early May markets, but I'm down for the end of May).

Thank you once again and see you next time!

PS: The past two weeks I've only been working with paper, so making a new clay collection was a nice change of pace. Now that my bows are pretty much all snatched up, I'm happy to make some bows again - the other day I had a mind blank making them, because it was so long since I made any. For those who didn't know, I actually started off making bows only... and somehow got sucked into this earring venture - not that I mind!
