It's been a while since my last blog post, but boy HAVE I BEEN BUSY. 

So after the Iris launch I launched the Jasmine 2.0 series... and then the Lotus and "Classic: Made to Order" kickstarted with the Dango statement drop earrings.

Tonight I will be opening up orders for the Classic: Made to Order Cherry Blossoms in the regular and freshwater pearl on chain styles.

I put a lot of thought and heart into these earrings as they suddenly just popped into my head last week as I was about the launch the Lotus earrings. I made a prototype, but I wasn't entirely happy with it as I felt that I could do with some extra detailing on the back - so I've finally made myself at peace with a surprise detail on the back of the earrings as well.

I know as earring wearers and designers, there's usually not a lot of thought put into the back of an earring, but I felt like part of designing and almost as a pledge to you as customers, I want my earrings to be well made (so people definitely look twice), and are high quality. I think it's the details that really count and will be the make or break difference between something you like, and something you will love and treasure.

I've also been busy with customs - I think it's really that time of the year where if you need a pair of earrings for an event, now's absolutely the time to think about asking for a custom pair now. There are still extensive delays across the AusPost network (though I have had some parcels magically appear sooner than I expected, and touching wood - no real delays for any parcels I've despatched in the past few weeks), so please give me and yourself more time. I made a custom so fast this week because it was required for the next week and was sent via express post. I usually do not work so fast as there's always something that needs to be done, and to ensure the best quality and attention, I do kindly ask if you are considering a custom, please ask me as soon as you have any intention. Thank you *heart*

So some updates that will occur (or have occurred) on the website:

Express Post is now a delivery option
Please note that this is NOT a guaranteed next day delivery service. AusPost has no express post guarantee (in fact they never did - they only guaranteed it for the yellow satchels and between certain post codes... and if the satchels get lost you don't get any compensation etc - this is another story for another day though).

AusPost is prioritising express post parcels over regular post parcels... so while I can't make things faster, and I can't guarantee you'll get it super quick, you will get your items sooner than regular post if you are in a hurry.

Free regular postage will be applied to orders over $80 on Monday 11 Oct 2021
Now that NSW is finally coming out of lockdown, my free postage threshold is reverting back to $80, just the way it used to be before lockdown. I hoped to keep the $5 regular postage until the end of the year, but I am going to need to assess this as AusPost put up their pricing last month, and it may not be sustainable on the long term. I'll keep you all updated, but if you need anything around the $50 mark or less, now's the time to place an order as it will be changed next week.

November pop ups have been updated
I will be at Kirribilli Markets for both days during November, as well as the Pittwater Christmas Market.
I'm kind of excited as I haven't ventured up to that area yet, and I haven't participated in a Cambridge Market event yet. I will hopefully be fully stocked up by then (more paper cherry blossoms in production right now and other things), so now is a very busy time of the year.

I think that's about it for now - there are going to be exciting changes, and good ones at that.
