1x Vintage Silk Haori Jacket as pictured

This item was directly imported from Japan and was not made by me.
This item is available for order online only and not available at pop ups**

This is an unworn vintage haori jacket, and still has the external white stitching on the sleeves in tact (this external stitching is to keep the garment flat and can be removed when you decide to wear it - a bit like the stitching sometimes used to keep pockets flat). It is black overall, and has some embroidered details. The interior has two cords to tie the jacket closed, and a white/ off-white chrysanthemum lining in parts of the jacket. *note, the part where the lining and collar is joined is not pictured into the photo and is obscured by a pole I used to take the photo.
It is in excellent pretty much new condition.

Haori jackets are typically worn during the cooler months and are of substantial weight over a kimono to keep warm.
It can also be worn as a casual jacket or a cardigan and will be great matched with jeans.
It is typically a one size fits all with its very generous sizing. I feel that this is a unisex design and can be worn by anyone.

At time of import, it was described as 100% silk.

LENGTH:
76cm

SHOULDER WIDTH:
64cm (can accommodate even wider as the sleeves are very deep)

SLEEVE LENGTH:
31cm

SLEEVE DEPTH:
50cm

*Tip: you can tuck the sleeves through the hole under the armpit to keep your sleeves out of the way if you are doing something that requires the sleeves out of the way and don't have any ties on hand.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

-Dry clean is recommended for silk items, however you can search how to clean a silk kimono online - any hand washing is done at your own risk, but I feel as this piece is embroidered it could be OK. Warm iron may be required.
